Captain Alec is very knowledgeable of all things fishing in the Miami area! We had a great trip and caught Grouper and Snapper, which he filleted up for us at the doc. I would highly recommend booking a charter with Alec!

As a fishing guide myself captain Alek was everything you look for in a guide, I would recommend this trip and charter for every age group and every level of fisherman, he even filleted our fish for us at the end ! Was an incredible experience and will be back !! Couldn’t ask for anymore !

Captain Alek is absolutely amazing! He had us hooked on kingfish and other species right away, with non-stop action throughout the trip. He guided us expertly onto Blackfin Tuna, which was challenging but incredibly rewarding, and we even landed a beautiful Mahi. Capt Alek made the experience fun, exciting, and unforgettable. If we return to Miami to fish, there’s no question who we’ll book—he’s the best!

If you’re looking for a guide, stop searching—Alek is the guy. Extremely knowledgeable, a blast to fish with, and makes the whole experience outstanding. I book a lot of trips, and he’s a solid 10/10. He put me on plenty of fish and is just an all-around great person.

Alek was an outstanding fishing guide, keeping lines in the water constantly to maximize our chances of catching fish. We had consistent action across multiple spots and adjusted when the bite slowed. We landed plenty of tuna and even lost a few to sharks, but Alek ensured we went home with plenty of fresh fish. The boat and gear were well-maintained and ready for our trip. I’d give 6 stars if I could—thanks, Bearcut Bandits!

Great trip and Capt. Alek knows secrets! We started at 0700 with a trip down the beautiful Miami River. Picked up some live bait from a buddy of the Captain's outside Treasure Island. The Captain then put us on a spot that produced 30+ yellowtail snapper, 3 mackerel (1 keeper), and a bonita. We got a minimum of one bite per bait. Sometimes multiple bites per bait. Using mid-range spinning gear, it was non-stop action. Really, a perfect way to spend any morning. The Captain has a gorgeous center console that is perfect with this kind of trip. He is cordial, experienced, attentive, and focused on you having tight lines. We talked about many other fishing opportunities there in the Miami area and Capt. Alek would definitely be our go-to guy for exploring them. Highly recommend.
