We only did a half day 7am-1pm and still hooked into around 12 fish between 4 guys and kept 10. A few bonita, a blue runner, and and around 8 blackfin tuna. Alek was very passionate about making sure we were figured out the correct way to jig for the Tuna so that everyone had a shot to get one. He would mark them on his screen and swing around if we drifted to make sure we were still on top them. We doubled up a few times as well! At the end of the day he took the time to fillet all of them for us to take home. He even cut some pieces for us to eat with soy sauce while he did so. We now have weeks worth of fresh Tuna! I would defnitely recommend this off shore trip for half or full day.

Absolutely amazing! Alex was incredible especially with the kids and taught us all as we were all new! Had an amazing time and highly recommend to everyone such a great experience and now onto a restaurant with our fresh fish so they can cook it for us on Alex’s recommendation Such a great afternoon thank you

Captain Alec created a great experience for our entire family. We had a mix of kids and skill levels, and was patient with us all. We rode our and instantly started getting bites. Alec took the time to teach about the different set ups and helped us navigate a windy day. He was knowledgeable and coached us the entire way. We caught a variety of fish we were able to enjoy for dinner. I definitely recommend Bearcut Bandit to ANYONE looking for a great fishing experience around Miami.

Absolutely amazing fishing guide! We are from TX and fish a lot with a guide there so we had high expectations. We were blown away! Caught our limit on yellowjack! Alex was friendly, helpful, patient and very knowledgeable!

I had a friend visiting town and we decided somewhat last minute to try to get out on the water. We booked at 6pm the night before, so I honestly wasn’t sure it would even be possible to make it happen on such short notice. From the start, the captain was incredibly organized and responsive. Communication through the platform messaging was quick and clear, which immediately gave me confidence that everything was being handled professionally. He also kept us informed about the weather and sea conditions and let us know ahead of time that offshore fishing wouldn’t be ideal, so we would focus on inshore instead. I really appreciated the transparency and the effort to set expectations. When we arrived, the boat was completely prepared and ready to go. Everything felt smooth and well thought out. What stood out most, though, was the captain himself. It’s rare to meet someone who is so genuinely passionate about fishing while also being incredibly patient with people who are not experienced. He took the time to explain things, helped us when needed, and made the whole experience feel relaxed and fun rather than intimidating.

We had an incredible experience on our fishing charter with Captain Alek! From the moment we stepped on the boat, everything was organized, professional, and thoughtfully prepared. Even with rough seas, Captain Alek handled everything with confidence and skill, making us feel safe and completely at ease the entire time. We caught a lot of fish and had such a fun, exciting day out on the water. It was obvious he really knows his stuff — he put us right on the fish and kept the energy up the whole trip. What truly set the experience apart was his attention to detail. The boat was spotless, the gear was ready to go, and he made sure everyone was taken care of throughout the charter. One of the absolute highlights was enjoying fresh sashimi made from the fish we caught. It doesn’t get any better than that — fresh, delicious, and such a memorable way to celebrate an amazing day of fishing. If you’re looking for a captain who is skilled, attentive, and genuinely cares about giving you a great experience, Captain Alek is the one to book. We’ll definitely be back!

Captain Alek was excellent! This was our first charter and couldn’t have asked for a better Captain and vessel. Alek was hard working, knowledgeable, humorous, and patient with my family ha ha. The trip itself was amazing. Everyone had a blast catching snapper and tuna all while having a beautiful view of the sunset and Miami skyline. My 7 year old son can’t stop talking about how he caught a bigger fish than me and the surprise pelican friend. So mission accomplished! Thank you again Captain Alek!

My son and I felt like we we're fishing with one of our buddies today. I've been on plenty of fishing charters and this was absolutely one of my best experiences. Capt Alek is very knowledgeable and worked hard to take us to the fish. We caught all day long. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Bearcut Bandit Fishing to my friends snd family.

Me and my 3 buddies booked this charter. It was phenomenal BearCutBandit Charters is top rated for a reason. We caught about 30 fish between the 3 of us. After he filleted all the fish and recommended a restaurant that cooks the fish for you. The restaurant was amazing and cheap. Will 100% be booking again.

We are ocean fishing novices and Captain Alex was patient and encouraging with my kids. Within 30 minutes of reaching our first fishing location my son hooked and landed a sail fish. He never stopped trying different tactics and different areas to get everyone in our party of 5 hooked on!!! We all caught fish. Bonita, black tuna, yellow jacks, red and yellow snaper, and a strawberry grouper. Some we were able to keep some we had to throw back. At the end of the trip Captain Alex filleted fish, for us and even made sashimi for us with the black tuna! couldn’t have asked for a better day highly recommend Captain Alex at Bearcut Bandit Charters!!!
