One for the books today! Doug and I headed out this fall morning with partly cloudy skies and storms possible later. Early morning conditions looked good for getting lines in the water before any weather moved through. We ran out past the jetties targeting the wrecks around Miami for our Catch and cook. With our gear rigged and ready, we worked the spread over some productive wreck structure. Bottom fishing and jigging produced solid results as we drifted the areas. Doug hooked up early with a nice Red Grouper that made the drag scream. The bite was hot as we continued working different wrecks, adding a quality Mutton Snapper and Black Grouper to the cooler.
